Freyja's Triple Goddess Vegvisir Shield
Freyja has a special place in our hearts which inspired the creation of this unique altar piece designed to invoke the magic of the Norse Goddess.
Our Triple Goddess design has been further adorned with the addition of Freya’s two cats Hogne and Tovner seated and stretching in the waxing and waning moons. The full moon is represented as a shield in the center and is adorned with Vegvisir, the runic compass, used here as a symbol of both protection and guidance.
At the center of Vegvisir we have created two options. The first option is a runic symbol or sigil using the Runic alphabet (Elder Futhark runes) to spell Frejya’s name in old Norse as follows:
- FEHU: prosperity, well-being,
- RAIDHO: travel, rightness,
- EHWAZ: initiative, impetuosity,
- JERA: abundance, harvest, and
- ANSUZ: knowledge and creativity.
The second option (shown in the second and third photos) is a moonstone selected specifically for this piece and permanently set in place.
We hope that this magical piece will bring everyone the spirit of love, prosperity and protection of which it was intended.
Product Details: This piece measures .5cm high, 13.75cm wide, 6.25 cm deep and weighs 26g without the crystal. The shield in hand-finished in an aged bronze style with black accents.

All of our products are designed and individually 3D printed here in our home studio using a bio-safe, non-toxic, vegetable, wood fibre or sugar-cane based PLA. We then hand-finish each piece, usually smoothing and sanding them using a natural wood fibre material and then acrylic paints or glazes. The cured finishes are non-toxic but the metallic finishes do have the actual metals in them. This is a clean and local process and our materials are selected from those made in Canada or the USA. We are 100% NOT “Made in China” and take some pride in that. Through careful research and testing, we have found a great way to get around the toxic resin and moulding processes used in most of the statues on the market.
