Call upon the magic of The Morrigan to steer your fate.

The Morrigan is a powerful Celtic goddess of death and destiny known as the Great Queen or the Phantom Queen. This version of her is standing in the middle of the Seed of Life and surrounded by 2 crows and a winged snake that adorn the triple goddess / triple moon altar base.

Often depicted as a war goddess, she brought both prophecy and favour to heroes and gods alike. But she was also seen as a guardian of the land who used her powers to protect Ireland and its people. She is a shapeshifter which is seen as an expression of her power over the living universe and she often appeared as a bull, a crow and a wolf.

Morrigan is part of a triad of Goddesses, sometimes depicted as sisters and at times interchangeable with the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone.
The Morrigan is forever linked to Samhain and credited with helping her lover (or husband) the Dagda the King of the Tuatha DéDanann in battle by summoning the magicians of Ireland.

The Morrigan challenges and encourages us to take action in our lives, to create change, to release what no longer serves us, to fight for what we believe and to change or accept our fate or accept it. Morrigan’s power to shapeshift shows us the importance of transformation as we invoke her presence.

“The battle to control, change and master the self is as much a part of their magick as is the battle to change outer conditions in the world” (Christopher Penczak, Feast of the Morrigan: A Grimoire for the Dark Lady of the Emerald Isle).

Product Details:  Our Morrighan stands 10.5cm high, 18cm wide, 8cm deep and weighs 56g. She is hand-finished in black vegetable-based PLA.

All of our products are designed and individually 3D printed here in our home studio using a bio-safe, non-toxic, vegetable, wood fibre or sugar-cane based PLA. We then hand-finish each piece, usually smoothing and sanding them using a natural wood fibre material and then acrylic paints or glazes.  The cured finishes are non-toxic but the metallic finishes do have the actual metals in them. This is a clean and local process and our materials are selected from those made in Canada or the USA. We are 100% NOT “Made in China” and take some pride in that. Through careful research and testing, we have found a great way to get around the toxic resin and moulding processes used in most of the statues on the market.
